Attach image to more than one posts…

  I was wondering if there’s a way to “attach” a photo to more than just one post.
  If you ad an image through the add/insert image thing inside a post it’s automatically attached to that post. Is there a way to attach a photo to more than that first post?

  Say I want to reuse a photo but don’t want to upload it twice?

  In your new post click the icon and select “media Library”. Locate the image you want to re-use using “search” in the new post. When you locate it and click “Insert into post”. Done! :)

  Thanks for answering, but that’s not quite what I’m looking for. I want it attached to a post but not inserted into the post itself. This might not be the right place to ask this so I’ve moved it over to the wordpress.org forum instead.
