Attaching link to blog post on "About" page

On the Cubic theme I have an “About” page; however, I have also made a blog post that introduces my self. I am writing a short piece about my self in the “About” page section; but I would like to then link them to the blog post, as a way of not repeating my self. How do I do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you publish both the post and the page containing the same information, then the information will be displayed in both places. There are various alternatives that would avoid such repetition:
1. Include a text link or image link to the introductory post in the content of the “About” page, or vice versa.
2. Show the short piece about yourself only in the post, but include an “About” menu item that links to the post in a Custom Menu. This menu item would replace the menu item linking to the “About” page, and the “About” page could be deleted or changed to draft status for possible later use.

The title of the “About” page, or of the introductory post, needn’t be “About.” It could be “About Me,” “Introduction,” or whatever you prefer.
