Attaching media

  Could someone tell me – what is the difference between link to attachment page and link to a media file?

  If you use Attachment Page, when someone clicks on the image they’ll be taken to a blog page with that image. It will include the other elements of your blog such as the header, footer, navigation and background.

  If you use Media File, then clicking on the image displays only that image without any blog elements.

  Thanks. I am converting my blog to a book. First go round the resolution was terrible. But I am hoping that was because I had posted the pics as medium or small pictures, not full size. I just wanted to make sure that how they were linked didn’t make any difference.
