Attachment Details

  Why can’t I find the attachment details when I want to edit a photo in media library.

  Hello there,

  Many thanks for reaching out.

  What details are you looking to change exactly? From what I can see you should be able to see details for the image by clicking on it and then clicking edit.

  Thanks for getting back to me.

  I want to add a link so that when a photo, on a page, is ‘clicked’ it retrieves a post from the general blog. From what I’ve read I thought I should be able to do this through one of the fields under attachment details – when I go to edit a photo. However, I’m not getting these attachment details fields showing when I do this in media gallery. Hope this makes sense. I suppose I’m wondering if I need a premium account to do this.

  Hello there,

  Ah ok, I think there’s perhaps a misunderstanding here. You wouldn’t need to access an images attachment details to achieve that.

  Instead you would assign a link to the image.

  Many thanks,

  I’ve looked at the link and all that seems simple to follow. I’ve only just bitten the bullet with blocks and have to admit to being baffled. I have though identified a tutorial and will start going through it. In the meantime I can do what I want to with using images as links. That’s great.
