Attachment field in contact form?

  Hi,

  I’m wondering if there is a (simple) way to add an attachment field to my contact form? I’m hosting a blog where I want users to be able to submit files for me to edit, and then I will upload them to the site.

  Hi! Currently there is no way to upload files directly from a contact form. Having said that, here are two alternatives –

  1) Have each user set up as an Author on your blog. This means that they can post and edit their own posts as well as upload files to your blog’s media library. However, this means that you will be giving each user quite a lot of freedom on your blog (i.e they can post / edit their own posts without your consent). So this may or may not work for you!

  2) Instruct your users to use your contact form to send you a link to a Dropbox/Mediafire upload of the document they want to submit.
