Attachments Option in Post By Email

Most of the time when I use Post By Email I include a single photo attachment. I would like to have the photo displayed at the beginning of the post. By default, the photo always gets displayed at the end of the post when it is published. Is there a way to change the default so that the photo will display at the beginning of the post?

Hi there. As far as I know, there isn’t any way to change this option. You can however, go back and edit the post afterwards to move it anywhere you want.
Otherwise, you’ll need to create the post in the web editor as usual.

I was afraid that would be the answer. I knew I could edit it later, but that doesn’t help for the people who are receiving it via email subscription, because they don’t see the edited version. Plus I send by email from my phone when I’m somewhere that I can’t access a computer. Using the web editor on my phone is problematic.

If you have a smartphone, you can use one of the Mobile Apps. They are available for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile.

Wow, this looks like a great App. It will take some getting used to, but it may be just what I need for doing my “on-the-go” posts.
