Attempting to design a site

    Hi! I currently have a domain already, linked to another host. I’d like to try and play with Squarespace to decide if it better meets my needs. Is there a way I can begin to build out a site on your platform without transferring or adjusting my domain (yet)? Thanks!

    Hi @rachelkoelzer9964, no problem. You’re welcome to stage your new site with us before pointing the domain here. That way your current site can stay “live” until your new one is ready.

    Just avoid using the custom domain options until you’re ready. Then you can either transfer the domain or map it to our servers.

    Noting you may need a domain to add plugins and themes to our Business plan, but if you need help with that, you can get in touch via chat support and our team will help you through.
