Attempting to renew domain

Hello,
I’m trying to renew my domain, however it says I’m ‘no longer a user of (my website name)’, and am confused about what this means as I have purchased the domain using the same account I am currently on.

What domain are you attempting to renew? Are you talking about leedsragfashionshow.org.uk That site shows a message that domain mapping has expired. I’ll tag this thread to ask a member of staff to reply to you.

Nope, that was expired and is no longer in use / used somewhere else by someone else. The one I’m trying to renew is kydsnr.com

You are unable to renew kydsnr.com because the user who owns kydsnrcom.wordpress.com deleted the site. You owned the domain upgrade, but the user leedsragfashionshoww owned kydsnrcom.wordpress.com and deleted it. I would reach out to them to discuss.

Thanks – I just contacted them and they said the user leedsragfashionshoww has already been closed down and that there isn’t a way to open the account anymore (gets a message that the user doesn’t exist).
Is there a way that I can simply transfer the domain name to this account, or use this account to purchase the renewal? (I used to own leedsragfashionshoww, however since then it has been passed onto new users to which they have closed it – therefore not existing). I was also not aware of the differences between owning the domain and upgrading the domain.

There is a way to transfer it, but it would involve leedsragfashionshoww re-activating their account so they can transfer the domain to you.
If they want to do that, have them reply to the account closed email with their intentions. Support will help from there.
