Attempting to restore ‘Parked’ Domain
-
Hello! I cancelled my domain registration without realizing that it would not be immediately available to use on a different website building platform (Dumbly enough, I thought I was giving up my domain through WORDPRESS, not my ownership overall). I love WordPress, but it is a strain for me financially. Can someone please ‘unpark’ the ‘www.valleygirllife.com’ domain? This is my registered trademark and I plan to use it by coding my own site. Or please let me know when it will become available. Thanks!

Are you sure the domain still isn’t in your account? When a domain is parked it doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have it, it means it’s not associated with a website or hosting plan.
I’d double check your account.

Unfortunately I don’t see it in my account, I cancelled my domain registration and already received a refund

Cancelling a domain isn’t a great idea if you still wished to use it elsewhere. All you needed to do was point it to some other host but now you no longer own it. Do you want staff to recover it to your account or do you want to wait (however long that might be) until the domain is released when it will be available for you to register again (or perhaps someone else).

Yeah I really regret doing that. I was hoping they’d be willing to be transparent & share how long it’ll take to release the domain. Some sites say it can take up to a few days. If that’s the case, I’d rather wait it out then to be tied to buying a domain as that would force me to buy a WordPress account (you can’t own the domain/re-register the domain without a paid account I believe). If not, my only option is to recover it to my account.
