Attenion Staff re: forum thread throttling & comment content removal

  I am being throttled and told I am typing too fast. In fact I use hundreds of copy paste answers and this extremely annoying.

  Worse than being throttled is the fact that the comment content has been removed by the software so I have to paste it in again.
  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  The result is I am answering fewer threads and that is not a good thing so I ask you to please address these issues and rectify them.

  Hi @timethief,

  We do have some mechanisms in place to help reduce the amount of spam/duplicate forum threads open. The current rate limit is a pretty short timeframe. We won’t be removing or reducing the limit any further at the moment.

  Understood re: time. The good news is that the disappearance of the comments is no longer happening today.
