  Sorry that you’ve had this trouble for some time.

  I wouldn’t know where to find the “spam filter,” but I hadn’t noticed any of my comments disappearing from forum threads, until today.

  Yesterday, I don’t remember at what time, I made a comment on the support topic Inappropriate adverts, advising the member that I could see no adverts on the website indicated. I still find no adverts there.

  Was my comment spammed?

  @musicdoc1 – yes your comment on https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/inappropriate-adverts-2?replies=2 – seems to be in the spam filter

  The tricky thing is that you can read your comments but nobody else can – but if you make a comment in a thread, then close the thread (go back to main forum page) and refresh things – the number of replies will go up by 1 (assuming you are the only one to comment in that time) – but the last person commenting will not be you but the person that commented ahead of you –

  confused enough?

  Thanks auxclass, but I don’t get it. I went back to the thread only because I recognized the title as it rose to the top after a fresh comment. My comment is not visible to me. It’s gone. Where is the spam filter, or…How would you know a comment has been filtered if you didn’t return to the thread?

  There is no “master” spam list you can see (might be for the staff) – a comment is just not visible to others in a thread – my way is looking at the count and the last poster listed when on the main forum page

  I would think that there is no indication to you so that real spammers don’t get feedback on what works and what does not work to leave spam comments

  Log out and if you cannot see what you posted into a thread then you know that it`s in the spam filter.

  Perhaps this is in another thread? I just went through the spam folder and unspammed several of his posts so perhaps I already caught this one inadvertently.

  @lilmaouz – The thread you mentioned has already been resolved by a staff member.
