  I’m fairly new to the world of blogging, how do I attract people to my blog

  Write stuff people want to read, be entertaining as well as informative and, above all, write well and always check your spelling.

  Leaving comments on other blogs may bring people to your blog, so it’s worth a try, but the main thing is to know your target audience and focus on it. From there you can branch out in any other directions that take your fancy.

  The basis of my blog is disability issues, but liberally interspersed with news-related items and personal stuff – there is pretty much nothing I won’t write about, but the core subject is what brings me most hits. There’s also quite a bit about blogging and writing for blogs in there, so it might repay a visit (click on my nickname).

  What a new blogger needs most, though, is patience. There is, sadly, no magic formula for bringing people to your blog.

  You also, by the way, need to include you blog’s URL in enquiries.
