  For an auction style site, you would almost certainly need a plugin called WooCommerce and an auction add-on such as this https://woocommerce.com/products/auctions-for-woocommerce/

  In order to run these plugins the site would need to also be on the business plan or higher, for which the features can be seen here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
