  Is it that those on free plan can’t upload audio in any form. Either by linking or uploading directly. Or can one use Google drive but am just scared my other private files might be accessible

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You must be on paid plans to use audio files on your site:

  Hi @opepraiz,

  While you need to be on a paid plan to upload audio files, you can still link to one on a another website.

  If that file is in Google Drive, it won’t recognize it if you use an audio block (see: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/audio-block/)

  But you can still embed it using HTML:
  https://www.labnol.org/internet/google-drive-mp3-embed/2232/

  In Google Drive, as long as the folder your file is located in isn’t publicly shared, you should be fine.
