Audio blog – a good idea?

I am very interested in literature and film, and lately I have been fascinated by the idea of reading literature onto my dictaphone (which I originally bought for taping interviews I do in relation to studies). I then got the idea of reading literature that I am fond of into my dictaphone – poetry, film monologues, theatre monologues, short parts of novels – and in some way putting this out on the internet for people to listen to. It may sound like I’m high on myself or something, but I do sincerely believe that I have a nice “radio voice” and that it would be nice to listen to. (It would also be a nice way for me of “forcing” myself to practice my oral english, since it is not my mother tongue language.)
The question is, do anybody have any thoughts on weather this is a good idea or not? And if the idea should be realized, do anybody have any ideas on how to put it out on the internet? Is an audio blog a possible alternative? It doesn’t have to be a very complicated blog, just somewhere I can post the audio files. All thoughts and suggestions are welcome.
