Audio file titles
-
On April 10, my radio archive files (audio files) titles changed from text to script. Then today, the script disappeared and only an icon with no description appears on files since April 10.

I am assuming you are talking about your radio archive page at http://prosperitysaskatchewan.wordpress.com/radio-archives/
Firstly, the default behaviour when inserting an audio file from your media library is to link to the audio file with the URL as the link text. You can easily change this to text of your choosing by placing your cursor within the link and clicking the link icon in the post editor (it looks like a link of a chain).
Secondly, when we see an audio file with the same text as the link, we make an assumption that this means you would like an audio player for that mp3, which is the icon you’re seeing in those cases. If you edit the link text, this will no longer happen.

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, we are talking about http://prosperitysaskatchewan.wordpress.com/radio-archives/
How do I get a title to appear beside the player icon on the page? These icons appeared overnight and the titles also disappeared – and I did not do anything.
I seem to be missing a step?

The player will always be on a line by itself. You could either put in a plain text title above the audio player in the post editor, or get rid of the audio player altogether by editing the linked text as I explained above.
