audio files from windows recorder

    It is really very annoying: although wordpress allows the upload of m4a audio files, and I have added “ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS” only an admin user can upload an m4a audio file recorded by the Windows 10 voice recorder, or by many smartphones such as Samsung. Why this problem? I would like all my editor users to be able to upload m4a

    Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out. It looks like the site is self-hosted, so the support we can provide is limited.

    You may wish to reach out the hosting provider to see if there’s restrictions in place that could be stopping that.

    It’s not unusual for hosting providers to have these in place in order to enforce a “fair use policy” if there is one.
