After I insert audio file into post, I get a player on a black page.
Is this the only thing I can show after purchasing space upgrades?
How can I show a still picture or other while playing music?

That’s not an “audio insert”, that’s just a link to the audio file, so when you click on “Paz Pa’ Vieques” you only get QuickTime or other utility reading the file in a new window instead of your blog page (just as when you click on one of the images in the post “almuerzo en Duffy’s” you get that image alone).
You could have inserted the WP audio player or the Soundcloud audio player. See here:

In that case the file needs to be an mp3, not an m4a.By the way, you didn’t need the space upgrade to do that: what the upgrade does is it allows you to upload the audio files to your own blog instead of other file-hosting sites.
To display an image or a video while the music plays, you’d need to use a 3rd-party slideshow that accepts bg music; not worth the trouble, in my opinion.
