[audio] issue with Firefox
-
Hello, I am using the following code to publish audio on my website.
[audio src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/bj847enjvi3wxcc/A%20Ferry%20Tale.wav" autoplay="y"][/audio]
It works fine on Chrome and Safari, but not Firefox. The page url is

Thank you,

Hey ktatar,
I kind of wonder if the spaces in that filename are not playing nice with Firefox. Change the name to something like AFerryTale.wav or A-Ferry-Tale.wav on Dropbox and then adjust your link accordingly.

Hello,
The same issue on this page, too. This one does not have any spaces;

I think you might be on to something — that new audio file played on Safari and Chrome, but not on Firefox.

Hi there,
What bit depth if the wav file. It looks like Firefox may only support 8 and 16 bit wav files. Is it possible to try with a wav file at a different bit depth or an mp3 file instead?
When I look at the browser debug area of Firefox after clicking play I get an error message that Firefox is having trouble decoding the file:
