Audio Not included in email notification

  audio not included in email .. My email notifications are not including the audio from the post. As an example, this post http://street-cents.com/2014/07/30/social-security-3/ which had audio embedded, did not show the audio in email notification.

  Is there something I need to do to allow audio links in the email notifications??

  Hi John,

  When you create posts which have audio files embeded in them, the notifications which are sent out don’t have the same embedded audio feature, but instead have links to the audio file. Are your emails missing the links as well, or are just not embedding the audio like your site does?

  Thanks for the quick reply. My emails are missing the links. the audio in the site is perfect, but no links in the email.

  That is so very strange.

  I’m going to send you an email directly. Would you mind following the directions which I have included in it so that I can get some additional information on this?

  That’s strange! I’m sorry, I sent it via our other system. I’ll just ask my question again this way:

  I noticed in the message you forwarded me that the image from your post was missing too. Now our email system will generally strip such images but will leave behind a tag indicating that an image has been removed, but I don’t see one here. When you got the email, was the image there, or was both the audio and the image missing as well?

  I know it sounds like a minor detail, but it might be important.

  The pic was included, but no links. On second email with audio, same thing.

  This is really weird. I cannot seem to find anything wrong with your site.

  I’ve gone ahead and followed your site. When you next post anything with audio I will of course get a notification and we’ll be able to see if there is something going wrong with the notifications or if your email client is somehow stripping it.
