  cannot insert play list songs into audio player, I have tried repeatedly, I have read all help info and followed, I have also followed past advice from the happy folk. When choosing audio from play list and clicking on the ‘none’ URL option, which should place audio in widget, I get shot to a blank page with http://violetquanyin.wordpress.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?type=file&tab=library&post_id=0
  ………every time.
  Am I wrong in thinking that I can have a visible audio player on my About page with a no of songs in it? I have successfully inserted audio into posts and gotten the play bar and the sounds.

  can you please help? I have paid for space and cannot use it. HELP!!

  Hi there,

  You can insert a playlist with multiple songs in it by following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/#playlist

  The steps are a bit different from adding a single song to your page. To add a playlist, you can go to the Playlist Editor tab, select the songs you want to add, and then click “Insert Playlist into Post.”

  Thanks so much, Rachel! This worked! What I’m really wanting is a widget side bar, audio player. I have not been able to successfully insert the songs into this widge, it does the thing I mentioned in my first message.
  Is it possible to have this, on the side of my page, using the widget audio feature? I have followed the instructions re this on help page, please see first post for outcome of this. Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it! I’m usually ok with this sort of thing, but this site sometimes has me beat!

  Ah, I see what you mean now! It looks like this is a problem with how this widget works in accessibility mode. Sorry about that! I reported this to our team so we can look into the problem.

  In the meantime, the widget should work if you turn off accessibility mode. You can do this under Appearance > Widgets. Near the top right of the screen, there is a tab that says “Screen Options.” You can click on that tab and then click on the link that says, “Disable accessibility mode.” The music player widget should then work properly.

  Another solution, if you don’t want to disable accessibility mode, is to create the playlist in a post or page. Then, you can copy the playlist shortcode from that post or page into the box in the widget where it says “Music Player.”
