You did not specify a blog address or reason for posting when you created this topic.
This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.
If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

Hey @broadwe2 that particular blog isn’t hosted on wordpress.com but is a wordpress blog, so you can ask in the main forums at:
This support forum is only for blogs actually hosted here, not all wordpress blogs in general. Thanks!

I paid my upgrade to put music in my blog, but it doesnt WORK !!, the flash [audio] all the time say “file not found”, come on! fix this problem, or return the money !!
-
First, you need to paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting).
Second, you don’t need the upgrade to have music in your blog.
Third, paste the URL of your mp3 here between backticks so we can see if and what you’re doing wrong.
-
I will paste the correct link so you can double check
second. sorry I didnt need to upgrade??? please read : You can share music on your blog by linking to an audio file, by purchasing the space upgrade and uploading music files to your media library.
and now you tell me that is not necessary??[audio http://imbrugliano.wordpress.com/files/2009/05/scars.mp3%5D
and also tried with :
[audio=http://imbrugliano.wordpress.com/files/2009/05/scars.mp3]Anyway, when you upload a song on your wordpress blog, and the you want to put it in a new post, there is NOT code or button to make it flash player, you have to write [audio]?? that is not add mp3 to your post.
P.S if people pay for more space and upgrade we should have other tools when we make new POST, isnt it??
so should request my money back? -
Go to my test blog and you can see in the latest post the song you uploaded. Click on the audio player and listen. It works.
What you want to do is to paste the audio code into the HTML tab. Supposedly it works also in the visual tab, but I’ve found that to be very unreliable. This is exactly what I put into the HTML tab.

We have only one audio player that will work here, and that is the one using the audio shortcode.

@imbrugliano: The upgrade simply allows you to upload mp3s in your blog instead of another host. It has nothing to do with using the audio player. The WP FAQ on audio is a bit misleading (but following the part you quoted is this: “Upload an mp3 file […] somewhere on the internet“). You can upload your mp3s in a free host such as Fileden or Getdropbox, get the direct URLs from there, and use them with the audio player shortcode.
As for the shortcode, space and equals are both ok. It’s just safer to paste the shortcode in the
html editor, as thesacredpath says. If you paste it in the visual editor, make sure it’s not a live link, i.e. not blue. (If it becomes a link, you can highlight it and click the Unlink button.) -
NOW WORKS, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
In reference to space upgrade… mm well I lost 20 box I think.

Hello Peeps
I noticed this thread so I’m going to run with it.
So, as i understand it – i can add an mp3 to fileden, take the URL, and get something like this:The player shows up, then as I click play, the scroll zooms to the right, and it doesn’t stop buffering.
Any ideas?
