  You offer the space upgrade to embed audio files, but offer no plugin to play those audio files directly on your site without people having to click on the file and play it through quicktime. It would be very beneficial and increase the functionality of us wordpress.com users if we were able to use an audio player.

  Actually, once you upload the file, you can embed a player using the audio shortcode, as detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/
