Audio player changed appearance

  In my playlists, which are based on external files and use the [audio] shortcode, the file name, rather than the title, is displayed.

  I’m hoping that WordPress can implement titling for the [audio] shortcode using external files, so I don’t have to shut down my playlists altogether. I like all the other features of the new player – it’s too bad that the need to use external files on a specific server, and the lack of titling support in that situation, is a dealbreaker for me.

  If you’re using the audio shortcode, changing the name of the media file will not be reflected in the playlist.

  Right, unfortunately. :(

  @habitacia @Laurie – I apologize; the title attribute for external files is not supported currently.
