  Hi. I’d like to be able to make audio posts with some sort of audio player. Or not. Just something that’ll allow visitors to press a button and play the song/audio. Everything I’ve found so far are plugins for WordPress.org blogs.

  Is there a way to play audio on my blog?

  You open an account in a free file-hosting site (such as Fileden or Getdropbox), upload mp3s there, copy their direct URLs, and paste them in your post or page editor this way:

  [audio URL_HERE]

  or

  [audio=URL_HERE]

  That will automatically give you the WP audio player. It’s safer to do the pasting in the html editor. If you do it in the visual editor, make sure the URL is plain text, not a live link.
