Audio player just buffers

I have been using the audio player and it’s been working fine until today. I have uploaded my file to both my usual host (filefreak.com, which has always worked and still works for posts up through last week)and also tried the Google sites suggestion in the forums. The code I am using in my post is [audio=http://sites.google.com/site/username/Home/20090419GelattAMpersexcerpt.mp3]. (I have to use the “=” because I use the MistyLook theme)
I have downloaded the file from both Filefreak and Google sites to see if the file itself is flawed and it isn’t it plays just fine.
Help?

Also just tried Getdropbox. Same result. Tries buffering for a little while then the player closes.

How big is the file? And when you look at it in the Visual editor, is it a live link, ie blue and clickable? Because you need to break the link first. Also, some themes are a bit quirky and they sort of “demand” that you use the HTML editor instead of the visual; have you tried that?

I’ve never used the HTML editor. I looked and it’s not clickable. Since other forum posts had recommended “unlinking” it, I have tried that as well. The file is 4.5MB. The file in this post http://thelightheartedcalvinist.com/2009/04/15/pastor-josh-brings-the-truth-on-easter-morning/ is 3.6MB. Is there a file size limit?

There’s no size limit in the WP audio player. The files are hosted at GetDropBox – most likely there was a problem or limit on their side.
