Audio player link automatically changes to link

  I’m trying to embed an audio player into my blog post. Every time I copy the URL link, it pastes as a hyperlink to the site, rather than the player. This happens in Visual as well as HTML mode. How do I get the player to display on the blog post?

  Hi,

  Not all third party players will automatically embed like YouTube. Soundcloud and AudioMack will, but not all players are supported here on WordPress.com.

  If you want to have an audio player visible, you can use the native WordPress player by linking directly to the audio file by using the shortcode (I linked to the medium quality audio):

  [audio http://dl.iono.fm/epi/prov_319/epi_385850.m4a]

  As for also having a link to your channel, too. I don’t see a problem with it. I would find that useful as you might have your podcast on other platforms (i.e., iTunes, etc.).

  Excellent. I checked with the third party player and it is supposed to reflect in WordPress. They are busy fixing things on their side. Meanwhile I’m using this shortcode. Thank you very much!
