audio player possible bug – doesn’t display bgcolor correctly

I beleive the ‘applet’ player is bugged. I successfully set colors for most of the optional things descripted in the docs about inserting audio using the [audio URL] method.
However the bgcolor isn’t working correctly. As you can see in my link below I set both bg and bgcolor to the same value. But that isn’t what is being displayed (in safari). for the bgcolor, I am getting aqua when BEBCAD is actually sort of tan.

I even tried placing bgcolor in a different order with the other pipe-delimited and no luck.
I am using a mac if that makes any difference.
I am also editing the page from the html view (not the visual mode).
