Audio Upload problem

  Hi,
  I’ve purchased the upgrade to add MP3.
  I’ve had some success but now the upload keeps timing out (they are long files) and I can’t seem to upload now
  Also I read somewhere that there’s a progress bar….I’ve never seen a progress bar when trying to upload. Is there supposed to be one?

  No, they’re interview I’ve conducted.
  The longest is 50 minutes

  There’s a progress bar if you’re using the Flash uploader (as opposed to the browser uploader). You should see a link on the upload page to switch between the two uploaders – try the other one and see if it helps.

  How big is the file you’re uploading, in MB? And how fast is your internet connection?

  Not sure if this will help you at all but recently while I was looking for a way to upload songs to my blog I found SoundCloud which makes it a pretty simple task to do.I am thinking that you might be able to ul your interviews with this as well since it uses the audio short tag here on WP.

  SC has a free account where you can upload to them your MP3 then from there upload to WP with a clean player bar that does have a progress bar built in. It has worked great for me so far.   If you need help getting it set up just let me know…after days of headbanging the keyboard…I have it down pat now! LOL
