Audio upload problem

I keep receiving error messages while trying to upload my audio file. It’s an mp3 of my podcast episode and it’s 50.7 MB. It just tells me that an error occurred while it was uploading but not what the error was. And it’ll upload completely and then give me the error message. I’ve tried this 3 times tonight with the same result. Is there anything else I need to do?

I apologize for the trouble. I was just able to successfully upload an audio file to your Media Library (I have since deleted it). A few questions:
- Does this happen in every browser (i.e. Have you tried Chrome or Firefox?)?
- Can you try uploading a different file format and see if that has anything to do with the upload speed/success?
Let me know if either of those factors influence the upload process!

Chrome makes my Macbook run very slow but I’ll try Firefox. I’ve been using Safari. So far, I’ve only had the problem with audio files. I was able to upload pictures just fine.

Hi!
I’m definitely not saying you have to use Firefox or Chrome from now on. I was just asking if you could test the audio upload in another browser. This way, we can establish whether the issue is with the browser or with something else!

Thanks! I do think it was Safari because I was able to upload the same file with Firefox.

Hmm that’s interesting. Can you make sure you’re running the most recent version of Safari? It should read 7.0.3 under Safari -> About Safari. The uploading is currently working on my side in Safari.
