  Thanks for the feedback!

  What I really want to do is have this song play automatically on my blog. I appreciate now how easy WordPress and Sonific use to be.

  I have already tried the step-by-step the WordPress instructions from ‘how to get music on my blog’ to no avail. I even purchased the space upgrade.

  How do I get the link to the actual music file? I have tried uploading the MP3 file directly into WordPress page but that did not work either.

  It needs to be in the format of [audio http://www.meimportas.oamm.info/htdocs/musica/sinfonia9.mp3] as explained in the FAQ.

  How do I get music on my blog?

  Hi Mtdewvirus,

  I was able to add the mp3 file via the boxnet widget. However, I would like for the music to play automatically when someone visits the site. Is that possible?

  Well, that’s a matter of opinion. I have had a lot of compliments about the music on my site in the past (using Sonific). Mine is a poetry blog and the music can really set the tone. It’s easy enough to pause the music if you don’t want to hear it.

  I do still have the technical question for Matt. I notice on blogger, there are several using playlist.com and they are able to get the music to play automatically when their site is visited. I could not get the playlist.com code to work at all in WordPress.

  No, you won’t be able to get that one to work.

  I, also, have to vote with deltafoxtrot. It’s one thing to offer music to your readers; it’s another to force it on them. Autoplay is the single biggest reason I refuse to link to Myspace anymore. Right now I’m listening to the Cowboy Junkies: I do NOT need Coldplay layered over them, thank you.

  Hi

  I’m trying to upload a .mov audio file. I always end up with the error code 5. I’ve converted the file to wmv, avi, and mp4 format, but it’s always the same error.

  I’ve tried it on a MAC and a PC – but still the same error.

  Can anyone help?
