Authenticate with youtube channel

  I have a youtube channel that I do video game LPs. I want to associate my wordpress site with that channel so I can link it and have viewers go to my wordpress from my channel.

  I can’t seem to find a way to authenticate the channel with my free wordpress. Youtube requires me to either add a meta tag, or a file so they can authenticate it is my site.

  Is this something we can do with a free wordpress account (it only seems to benefit wordpress as it will drive ad revenue from visitors for them), or does it need a business account?
