Authenticator not working and verification sms not received, no back up codes.

I have two-factor authentication enabled on my blog and cannot log in. I get a WordPress verification code, but the number always generates an ERROR: Invalid verification code when I use it. Google Authenticator works otherwise on Google sites, and the application is time-synced, so it is not an application error but a WordPress error. I haven’t been able to access my site for over a while. I have tried to turn off two-factor on my Google account, but it does not affect the condition for having the code on WP. Resetting my password does not fix the issue.
Also when I ask for the recovery SMS I get none, with the thing saying: Recovery code has been sent. But actually nothing is arriving.
I created this account just to ask this question because the forums ask for a login, which is exactly what I can’t do.

Hi there. I’m afraid in this case your only option is the account recovery form. This forum is public, so staff can’t help you with login issues here. On the account recovery form you can provide an email address where staff will contact you directly to try and resolve this. It might take a while to hear from staff, as there’s no way to tell how long the account recovery queue is, so please be patient while you wait. I hope it doesn’t take too long, and good luck.
