authenticator on new phone not working

  I lost my phone. I set up Google Authenticator on my new phone, and it works for my Google account, but it doesn’t seem to know to set up for my wordpress. I thought maybe if I disabled and then reenabled (because I still have the same phone number, and if I ask for an SMS authentication code, I receive it and can still log in), it would work. However, to disable, I need to use the authenticator app to type in a code. I can’t do that, because the authenticator app won’t work with my WordPress. See my problem? How can I reset it so that I can set up authenticator on my new phone?

  never mind. so much time could be saved if your support site weren’t so ridiculously hard to navigate and full of clicks
