I would like to change to another provider (strato). For that I need an AuthInfo Code, how do I receive one by wordpress?

But I already begin to fail at the first step =/ (“Set the domain manager password”)
My window in “My domains” does not show any option to find the “domain administration”… -
….maybe it’s because I don’t have any upgrade or domain registration? Just the normal free version

OK I understand – your blog is under a subdomain of “.wordpress.com”. In that case you don’t have a domain to transfer, you are sharing “wordpress.com” with many other blogger! You will have to buy a domain to use with strato. You will probably be able to get one from them (I don’t know starto but 99% of hosting companies also sell domains).
If you want visitors to your current blog to be redirected to your hosted blog you will need the site redirect upgrade.

So if I would transfer to wordpress.org at first, then changing to strato would work out?… Actually I already bought a domain by strato but in fact that it came out that I have no domain to tranfer =P I could not finish the process on strato. -

Sorry, to bother again. If I purchased the site redirect upgrade, that does not change anything for strato…so I’m still in the need of this code =/

You don’t need a code – just set up your strato site with the domain name you purchased as a completely separate site, just as you would have done if you didn’t have a WordPress.com site.

ups, I finally I got it. Thanks again. I considered that I could transfer the wordpress.com blog and learned that this blog is not a “domain” which I simply could transfer
