  Hi there!

  Just so I have a better understanding of your goals, do you only want to hide your name as the author, or do you want to set someone else as the author of certain/all posts?

  A post must always have an author. If you don’t want your name displayed, your theme may have options to hide it from the visitors, but you’ll still remain the author of the post(s). You can also change your public display name on your profile page here: https://wordpress.com/me
