Author and categories are not displayed

    Hello,

    Good day to you,

    The author and categories are not shown in posts, and they both are enabled in the content option, How can I make them appear?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Sama,

    Hope you are well.
    Plz enusre that a Category will not display until you publish at least one post that you have assigned that category to?
    Also note that “Uncategorized” is the default Category that displays when we do not assign a category to a post. You can set up a default Category of your own choice.

    I am not sure but you may also try following steps:-

    Dashboard —> Settings —> Writing Settings —> Default Post Category (choose from drop-down menu) —> Save Changes

    Then Posts —> Categories —> delete “Uncategorized”

    That may help you.

    These settings are already set, And there is a published post, yet neither the category nor the author is appearing…
