Author and Date

  I have been trying to figure out how to get my posts to automatically at the author and the date to the post and have thus far been unsuccessful. I am looking for something like the following:

  My New Blog Post
  Posted by Blogger 3-9-11

  Followed by the text of the post. I can type it in manually, but is there an automatic way? Thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sorry, no there is not. You could change to a theme that displays the author and date in the post metadata at the top of the post.
