Author appear even when they shouldn't

  This is a collective blog, right? Five author.
  There is a category we save for ourselves and for our guests we have the main category guest so theoretically their gravatar should not show off in the authors widget at all, since the category chosen to be displayed is the “main” one for default. What are we doing wrong? I mean, we want our gravatars to be there always, we are the permanent “staff” but not to have the others around, specially because in a pair of weeks there will be too many gravatars around.   Then don’t use the Authors widget, because it will show all of teh authors of all of the posts on the blog. If you only want to show a few, then make a text widget.
