Author Bio

I apologize if this question has already been asked. Also, I am completely new to everything about making websites.
I’m trying to find where it will allow me to add an author bio. I’m using the Independent Publisher 2 theme. Will this allow me to add a bio, or do I need to switch to a new theme? If I do switch, will this delete my posts, photos, and social media link?

I believe there is no set way to create a bio page as such. What works best is to create a new page and name it “Author Bio” or “About”. This can be done regardless of your theme and will be carried into a new theme, should you choose to ever change it.

As you already have a home page set, you do not need to do any of the steps from the section “Setting a “Home” Page” and down.Let us know how you go. Feel free to write back here if you need any more help. Cheers!
