Author bio box on the side?

  Is it possible to add an author bio box on the side column, kind of like a widget?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Regardless of the theme, bylines will only display now if there are at least two authors who both have at least one published post in the blog.

  Thank you. Your links got me to discover the text widget, which is what I have been looking for to do other things as well!
