Author Box On Projects / Portfolios / Testimonials

  Hi, anybody know how to keep the author (“by”) details on regular posts but disable it on things such as testimonials and projects? I’m sure it’s fairly simple but I can’t figure it out!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Just go to the widgets, select The ‘Author Box’ click the little ‘dropdown’ arrow on the right of it, there you will see a few options, but what you need is right at the bottom of this widget, once it’s ‘opened’; you’ll see ‘Visibility’; you can be quite selective as to ‘where it is to appear’ Such as ‘Show If’… pages, by tag etc, etc.

  Uncheck ‘Disable Author in Post Meta’ in your Post/Page options. This adds the author details back to all the post types.

  Then add this CSS to remove it only from the Projects and Testimonials post types:

  .single-jetpack-portfolio p.meta.post-meta , . jetpack-testimonial p.meta.post-meta{
  	display: none;
  }
