Author comments need moderation

  I have set up a number of people as authors on the site, but when they comment on blogs they seem to sporadically appear in my moderation queue. I would like the comments to be approved automatically and thought this happened for authors but doesn’t seem to be the case. Any advice gratefully received!

  Hi,

  In order to make comments be approved automatically you must go to your Dashboard—->Discussion and check only the second box in section “Before a Comment Appears”.

  This would mean that you would only need to approve the FIRST comment of a person. Comments after that are automattic.
