Author Grid Widget display as grid instead of list

    I’m having trouble seeing how to display my authors as a grid of pictures instead of a vertical list of photos. The grid widget doesn’t seem to let me set them up as a block (say 3 across and as far down as necessary) at even the smallest avatar sizes. I’m using the Splendio theme with all of the widget areas.

    Is there a way to display our authors in a tighter format of pictures than the vertical list?
