Author in a post

  Hi,

  I’m new in wordpress. I have problems when I publish my posts. In the post data it shows: posted (a day whatever) by … and there it should appear my name, but there is nothing.

  I don’t know what I have to do to make that my name appears in each post.

  Fill out your profile. It’s at Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile. That theme uses the First Name and Last Name fields to populate that space if I remember correctly.

  Not a problem :)

  Do note that I believe the other themes that actually display the author all use that drop down menu on the Profile page. Some themes don’t display anything though.
