Author in google search

  Hello, when I search for my blog in google by typing “Inian Islands Institute”, the site tagline comes up, which is great, but at the end of the tagline it says “(by Zach)”. Why does it list the author of the post, and how can I remove this from how we show up on Google search?

  Hi there,

  There’s very little which can be done to specifically control what is shown or not on Google, however you can control how the author’s name is shown. You can change your username so that rather than showing “Zach,” it shows your organization’s name or your full name. You can change this by logging in to your account’s Dashboard and then going to Users >> Personal Settings.
