Author invite seems to require setting up a new blog!

    I have invited someone to be a second author for my blog. He receives the e-mail invitation, but when he accepts it, the link takes him to a page to create a new blog, which is not necessary & is something he is not interested in doing. The invitation does not take him to the dashboard of my blog or to any other page related to my blog. How do I get him set up as an author for my blog?

    It takes him to the page where he can create an account for WordPress.com. There are two buttons there: Gimme a blog and No thanks, just an account. That’s the one he needs.
