Author link – 404 error

  The link from my username at the top of each of my posts leads to a 404 error page.
  A link from my username seems to be OK when I post comments, but where each page notes who my posts are ‘By’ my username leads to a 404 error page.
  Any ideas or better still, a solution would be great! :)

  Hi there,
  Does anyone have any suggestions regarding the above?
  I’d like to get it sorted as I have written about 600 posts and they all have this link error!

  That’s a bug on this theme. Your author page exists, of course:
  http://whisty.wordpress.com/author/whisty/
  but the URL the theme automatically introduces for the byline link is missing the username.
  You can’t correct this yourself: you can report it in the Themes forum and hope WP will fix it.
