author listing

    Hey,

    On my blog I have different authors and when the viewer is at the homepage it shows at the bottom of each post who the author is, however when the specific post is opened it does not show who the author is. Is there a way to have the author listed at the bottom, other than typing in “by….” into each post?

    Right now, no.

    What happens in some themes (but not all) is that even if there is only one author it says “Posted by Mark” on every post. Given it’s my blog and everyone knows this is redundant info. It is also inconsistent across 100+ themes. So that will be removed or made an optional display (I forget which).
    But multi-author blogs will than have the same ability of posting each author or not. At that point you will get what you need and I apologise for not being able to deliver this sooner.
