Author name is taking title name of post instead of Author Name in admin portal

  Hi ,
  I am creating new post with title ,author name & category name, while creating post , author name should take title name instead of author name. After I have trying to update author name but its not updating. Could any one help me in this issue.

  Nor on the wordpress.com platform nor on a site using the open source wordpress.org, you can’t replace the author name with the title of your post. The author name is assigned automatically by the system.

  Hey staartmees,
  I am not trying to replace author name. Is the issue which I am facing, While creating post, author field it took title name instead of author name, This issue I am facing from last week

  As it seems you don’t have a site running on the wordpress.com, you must try to get help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
